National Sash Revival Day

National Sash Revival on May 7, 2016 – a great social media chance to show the world that real people are fixing up their original windows.

What is a Sash Revival? The concept came from the old time church revivals whose aim was to ignite the faith once again in the believers. We have put together some ideas on how we think an event can work but it’s up to you to make it your own. The idea is to bring together those who are passionate about restoring windows with those who think it might be a good idea but need some help.

Your local preservation groups are probably already planning activities for Preservation Month so reach out to them and tell them you plan to be part of the Sash Revival movement.

And let the WPA know so we can add you to the calendar. The goal is to get lots of pictures of people and their sash being saved.
